What is a Deep Healing Session?

A Deep Healing Session is an extended, immersive therapy intensive — typically a full day or multi-day format — designed to create significant therapeutic movement in far less time than weekly sessions. Melissa uses ART, FLASH, IFS, and somatic approaches within these intensives.

How much does therapy cost at Reflective Pathways?

Deep Healing Session packages are $1,800, $2,250, and $3,000 depending on scope and duration. Melissa does not accept insurance for these intensives. A Good Faith Estimate is provided before any service begins.

Does Melissa Cribb take insurance?

Melissa does not bill insurance directly for Deep Healing Session intensives. She provides a Superbill for clients to submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What trauma therapy approaches does Melissa use?

Melissa is certified in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), trained in the FLASH Technique, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic/polyvagal-informed approaches. She does not use traditional talk-only therapy for trauma.

Does trauma therapy require retelling the traumatic event?

No. Approaches like ART and FLASH Technique are specifically designed to process trauma without requiring you to narrate or relive the experience in detail. Many clients find this a significant relief.

Where is Reflective Pathways located?

Reflective Pathways Counseling Services is located at 500 3rd St SE, Osseo, MN 55369. Melissa also serves clients throughout the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro area via telehealth.

What is the difference between PTSD and complex trauma?

PTSD typically develops after a single identifiable traumatic event. Complex trauma (C-PTSD) results from repeated or prolonged exposure to traumatic experiences, often in childhood. Both are treatable, and Melissa works with both presentations.

Can anxiety and addiction be treated at the same time?

Yes, and they often should be. Anxiety and substance use frequently co-occur because substances become a coping mechanism for unmanaged anxiety. Melissa holds both LPCC and LADC credentials and provides integrated dual-diagnosis treatment.
